Armed conflicts result in mass shortages of the basics needed to sustain human life such as clean water, food, shelter, and proper clothing. The already dangerous circumstances of conflict zones are made worse by the lack of these necessities causing increased human suffering, disease, and unnecessary deaths. One of Stronghold’s key missions is to provide the lacking necessities to families in conflict zones during their times of greatest need.

We accomplish this in two ways:

One:

Emergency Relief

Stronghold sends teams to provide short-term, emergency humanitarian relief in conflict zones. Every conflict zone is unique and may require unique solutions. In some situations water may be scarce, while food is plentiful. In other situations, the opposite may be true. We do our best to provide the most situation-specific relief possible.

Two:

Development Projects

Populations affected by conflicts often find themselves in refugee camps, slums, or remote villages cut off from the outside world. In these situations, Stronghold invests in sustainable development projects to provide long-term solutions to problems faced by families in conflict zones.
