Stronghold’s Ambulance Manager Recovers

A couple of months ago, Stronghold’s ambulance manager, Gay Wah, was wounded in the leg by a Burma Army airstrike while working with a Stronghold medical team near the frontline of an ongoing battle.

After being wounded by the Burma Army airstrike, Gay Wah was transported in Stronghold’s ambulances to receive medical care at Rain Tree Clinic in Burma.

In addition to managing Stronghold’s ambulances, Gay Wah was also a student at the Rain Tree Clinic’s Physician Assistant program.

Ironically, Gay Wah was transported in the very ambulance he was in charge of, and was treated in the very clinic where he was also a student.

His wounds were relatively minor, and he was able to attend his graduation ceremony at Rain Tree Clinic just a week later — with a little support from friends.
